SkyWorld #Bid4Good Campaign a Success

On 30 June 2019, SkyWorld Development Group has successfully conducted its #Bid4Good Live Bidding event at SkyWorld Property Gallery @ Bukit Jalil last Sunday. More than 300 participants, both young and old, joined this meaningful event in hope to raise funds for the less fortunate. Smaller items such as kitchen utensils, towels, deco items and clothing were purchased off the shelf whereas bulky items like furniture, appliances, rugs and lightings were purchased through bidding.

SkyWorld Founder and Group Managing Director, Datuk Ng Thien Phing said “We are extremely happy with the results. Our team has managed to raise over RM20,000 and as promised, SkyWorld will double up the amount so more homes can be benefited through this campaign. I must say this is truly a great success. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my team for their time and effort put forth in this campaign. This is not an easy task as everything was done internally. From generating the idea, creating artworks and conducting the auction, I am very happy that my team has done a wonderful job!”

#Bid4Good is possibly the first of its kind CSR initiative in Malaysia where SkyWorld has offered its show units’ items for purchase at a reasonable or low price and all funds raised will be channeled to the homes. This campaign was created in hopes of boosting public awareness on the growing needs of underprivileged homes in the Klang Valley while encouraging fellow Malaysians and the public to lend a helping hand through a simple act of bidding. As a community developer, SkyWorld aims to transform the city to a better place by providing a sustainable Sky Living experience and #Bid4Good is a charity drive to uplift the community by transforming the lives of the underprivileged society.

With the amount raised, we hope it can help them in their daily operations.” added Ng. The team has identified a few homes in Klang Valley and they will be paying the homes a visit. Once the list has been finalized, SkyWorld will organise a mock cheque presentation together with the selected homes.
