Donates RM200,000 to PASCA Flood

In 14 January 2015, SkyWorld donated RM200,000 to the Ministry of Federal Territories for the PASCA Flood Recovery Mission to ease the burden of the flood victims. On late December 2014, ore than 110,000 flood victims at Kelantan were affected by the worst flood in 30 years. Other affected states were Terengganu, Pahang, Perak, Johor, Perlis and Sarawak.

En Zafidi Mohamad, Executive Director of SkyWorld presented the cheque to Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Federal Territories Minister. The mission raised a total of RM5.3 million from various corporate companies. Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan thanked the corporate bodies in Kuala Lumpur that have contributed. "My goal was RM3 million but it reached RM5.3 million. We have shown that we are concerned with the flood victims, regardless of race and religion."
