SkyWorld Development Berhad (“SkyWorld” or the “Company”), an urban property developer, hosted an exclusive project tour to showcase its latest completed development, The Valley Residences located in Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur. Despite providing over 60 facilities, the maintenance fees in The Valley Residences stand at a mere RM0.29 (excluding sinking funds). The development achieved a take up rate of 100%.
“SkyWorld’s commitment to sustainability is evident throughout The Valley Residences. We believe in ‘Healthy Building, Healthy Living’ as part of our Product DNA that serves to provide high quality products to the market,” says Lee Chee Seng, Chief Executive Officer of SkyWorld Development Berhad.
“We put strong emphasis on several technical analysis into our developments including sun path analysis, cross ventilation analysis, footprint thermal analysis, thermal analysis and daylighting analysis in order to achieve the perfect comfort liveable environment for our residents,” he shares.
The event received an overwhelmingly positive turnout by more than 120 members of the media, estate valuers, bankers and solicitors. Attendees expressed their admiration for The Valley Residences’ exceptional quality and its extraordinary addition to the local property market.
“In line with our efforts in promoting sustainable, community-focused developments in Malaysia, we have taken significant efforts to design SkySanctuary as a nature-focused green township where residents are able to live in a city with its own private park. It is no surprise that the park's design incorporates several elements of biophilic design, which is an approach to architecture and urban planning that seeks to connect people with nature,” reveals Lee.
Designed with a vision to preserve land integrity and safeguard biodiversity, SkySanctuary Park has 72 species and 100,523 botanical plants including trees, grass areas, shrubs, indigenous wetland and aquatic plants. This help to increased habitat, offers a vibrant ecosystem that promotes a healthier lifestyle and fosters a profound connection with the natural world. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the park's lake serves a vital purpose as a retention pond, effectively mitigating flood concerns in the neighboring housing area. We strongly advocate for the value-added function of stormwater retention ponds, which not only benefit human recreation but also contribute to the conservation of indigenous flora and fauna.
“SkySanctuary Park stands as a testament to our dedication to preserving biodiversity, fostering sustainability, and creating a space that truly benefits the community. SkyWorld is resolute to create environments that not only inspire and delight but also contribute to the well-being of the community. With unwavering passion, we will persist in our efforts to build a brighter, greener future to make living better.” said Lee.
